Countdown to our grand opening + a very special visitor
We are putting the finishing touches to The Lost Picture Show at Glastonbury, ready to open at 8pm tonight. The crew have had a very busy couple of days, made more hectic by the fact that we have had this enormous but incredible new frontage to construct, but despite heavy downpours of rain everything has gone swimmingly (for want of a better word!). We even had a special visit from a certain someone which we were all buzzing about – see photo below! The rest of the field looks fantastic as well, with a Bullring made out of old canal locks, Bassline Circus, the Wall of Death and lots of other weird and wonderful curiosities. Those festival people out there are in for a big indulgent treat!
Michael Eavis gives The Lost Picture Show his mark of approval!
Our interior a few hours ago – not too much left to be done now…
Lora and Sophie paste our stunning Latin American film posters onto the frontage.
A big pile of cushions, waiting to provide comfort for hundreds of happy festival-goers.
